AC Shadows Reveals Unexpected Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre crossover event that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Uncovered
According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of forbidden rituals and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret cult.
The mission centers on "strange tests and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Extra Features
Players who finish the quest will receive an special katana together with numerous objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:

- Mikasa costume for Naoe

Latest Free Story Addition
This release also adds the game's third complimentary story content, titled "The Mystery."
