Four protesters were arrested after visuals depicting Donald Trump alongside the late financier were projected upon Windsor Castle.
The demonstration unfolded prior to Trump's royal visit to Britain, when he will be welcomed by King Charles III.
Protest Details
On Tuesday evening, protesters revealed a large sign featuring a image of Donald Trump with Jeffrey Epstein near Windsor Castle.
Later, visuals were displayed multiple images onto a tower of Windsor Castle.
Police confirmed that the four remain detained for alleged malicious communications.
Background Context
Recently, a birthday letter allegedly written by Trump to Epstein was made public by Democrats.
The note was also projected at the site, together with photos of those affected, media reports, and law enforcement records.
The text of the letter included an exchange between the two figures, where Trump describes Epstein as a close associate.
Ongoing Attention
The publication of the letter has generated continued interest to the relationship of Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein.
Although attempts to move on, attention about the case remains high.
Authorities referred to the projection as a “unauthorised public stunt”.
Donald Trump and the financier were known to have been friends preceding his time in office.
Yet, they reportedly had a falling out well in advance of his 2019 incarceration death.
