A urgent handwritten note passed to Donald Trump by his secretary of state, Marco Rubio, suggested that an declaration regarding a peace agreement in Gaza might be made imminently.

Recorded in a image, the note's contents urged the president to approve a post on his Truth Social network to announce the news before others.

"Very close," it stated, according to the photo. "We need you to approve a Truth Social post soon so you can announce deal first."

Shortly after the note was seen, Trump published on his platform, stating he was "extremely pleased" to reveal the first phase of the deal.

The Incident the Note Was Passed to Trump

Trump was conducting a discussion with conservative influencers about far-left groups when Rubio, standing in the back corner of the White House's Blue Room, got his attention.

He wanted to share an update for Trump, he explained, but it would have to wait until after the press departed. Then, Rubio handed the president the message.

"I was just given a note by the secretary of state saying that we're nearing completion to a deal on the Middle East, and they're gonna require my input soon," Trump said. "So we'll take a couple of more questions."
